Description

The London Ambulance Service NHS Trust is establishing a contract for the Provision of Workshop Equipment Service, Maintenance and Repairs.

The Contracting Authority is following the Open Procedure under Regulation 20,(2),(a) of the Procurement Act 2023

The London Ambulance Service is a member of the Southern Ambulance Service Collaboration (SASC), where the aim is to value joint working. The following SASC members shall be included in this procurement:

• London Ambulance Service NHS Trust (LAS)

The contract shall be split by geographic area pertinent to the Ambulance Trusts named above and one Supplier shall be appointed to each region. Suppliers can be awarded to more than one region.

The scope of services covers the provision of fixed and non-fixed garage equipment - calibration, service, maintenance and repairs for workshop equipment leased or owned by the named Contracting Authority. This is inclusive of both planned and reactive requirements.

The Supplier should have the ability to provide:

- Repair including replacement parts, and, or, replacement equipment

- Reactive repairs

- Insurance inspections of fixed and non-fixed equipment

The estimated contract value is based on a 4 year contract, should all three Ambulance Trusts form contracts under it. Named Trusts reserve the right not to award a contract as a result of this procurement.
